Chocolate Ice Cream

2 cups MimicCreme Sweetened or Sugar Free Cream Substitute
2 Tbs. Unsweetened Cocoa powder of your choosing**
1 to 1 ½ tsp vanilla (to taste)

Combine all ingredients in blender. Blend on high until fully incorporated. Add mixture to ice cream freezer and prepare as per manufacturer's instructions.

**up to 1/4 cup of cocoa may be used for richer, darker chocolate taste. However, we recommend using an organic unsweetened cocoa powder if you want to add this larger amount.

Conversely, why not make your ice cream taste like your favorite Chocolate bar!

Just melt about 3-7 oz of that favorite bar OVER --not IN--hot water. Once completely melted, cool down a bit and then slowly temper the chocolate by adding a half-cup of room temperature Sweetened --or Sugar-Free Sweetened-- MimicCreme and blend until very smooth. Transfer to a bowl or blender large enough to hold up to one quart . Continue to add from 1 and one- half to 3 and one- half cups of the MimicCreme to the chocolate while stirring or blending. The amount of chocolate you add is to your taste and the amount of MimicCreme you add is to your needs. Add mixture to ice cream maker and proceed as per manufacturers instructions.
